Suarina Wood

Saman Samanea, commonly known as Suar wood, is an Indonesian species. Recognized by it's canopy and beautiful pink flowers, this shade providing tree can climb up to 98 ft. A beautiful grain pattern can be found within each piece along with knots and fixtures. Because of these natural features, not one item is similar to its counterpart.

While our factories take into much consideration the deforestation epidemic, these trees are moderately invasive and grow abundantly throughout Indonesia.

Teak Wood

Native to South & Southeast Asia, Tectona grandis (Teak) is a large deciduous tree.  These trees produce white aromatic flowers and reach up to 131 feet tall. Teak wood is known for its durability and water resistance, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Even if not treated with a finish, teak is still perpetual due to the natural oils found within the wood.

The Indonesian government manages the country's forests to ensure the sustainability of Teak.
